The Anti-Angle.

Much ado about noting[!]

WOE-Wae:
War on executives / War against evidence.

Romney charges Obama with "real war upon women".
Hides behind women against women.

CSM: Rosen: “What you have is Mitt Romney running around the country, saying, 'Well, you know, my wife tells me that what women really care about are economic issues, and when I listen to my wife, that’s what I’m hearing.' Guess what? His wife has actually never worked a day in her life. She’s never really dealt with the kinds of economic issues that a majority of the women in this country are facing, in terms of how do we feed our kids, how do we send them to school, and why do we worry about their future.”
CSM: "It's clear from the context that Rosen wasn't criticizing Ann Romney for staying home. She was criticizing the Romney campaign for presenting Ann Romney as an expert on the economic concerns of women, when Romney's own economic circumstances (including the fact that she was able to stay home with all five of her sons) are not those that most women have."

CNN: Rosen Apologizes !!!!!
Republicans better clean up their act or get out of the kitchen.

[Title is reference to Sharron Angle and her "press" encounters. Hilary Rosen used an inconvenient sentence unless it is about getting coverage. As opposed to Try Angle.]

Last Word: Banana Split? Mother's Day. Mitt Gap. Romney Rule? Florida v. Zimmerman.

WOE / Wae

War on Executives:
Romney charges Obama with "real war upon women".
Hides behind women against women.

WOE to woe-men!

Or War Against Evidence:
I am not saying that the Republicans are waging a war on women or that Democrats are not saying it. I am saying there are two questions which I will not answer, who started the war and who started calling it a war? I am also saying that I have not found the evidence in the links attached here, and suggesting that there is a war no matter who calls it a war or who started calling it a war.

I have yet to find who started the claim that there is a war on women. I am not saying that I don't believe that Obama could have used the term*, I just haven't found it.**

* war on women, war against women, war for women...'s votes.

[Google of the Day? Is it an anomaly that Steve Benen on Rachel Maddow Blog is the second hit for the question. "When did..." re-framed as "Has President Obama said there is a war on women?" Third Frame: "Obama talks about war on women." Fourth fishing trip? No War on Women. WOW! ]

[OK, I have an un-Warren Ted side trip, and not a cheat sheet. But just to be clear**]

[Jumping in the Lakoff! But Republicans cannot win the VFW.(Victory for Women or Victory from Whining.) It is a victory for wordplay.]

< Speaking of victory for wordplay, Thom Hartmann takes on the West word Hoe[!] >

** added 4-13-12 (** that is) Haven't found the President using the term but Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is quoted using it without full context in the CSM.

Proxymoron?

Romney/Ryan* - "Social Darwinism"

Make no mistake, I am not associating President Obama with Proxymoron for using "Social Darwinism" wrong. I am not using Social Darwinism as it is commonly** used, since it evolves.
Even The Righteous Mind will evolve us.***

* Huffington Post (NFR)
** "common sense is not so common"
Related proxy-aphorism? Counter-Rush or Tea Party or FOX Think.
i.e. For every force there is an equal and opposite reaction. NOT! The word is action.
Maybe false dichotomy applies.

[Speaking of GPS: "What we have here" is a Galley Project SimpBowlized, by the deficit commission and the Kitchen/Boat math, marvelous mangling and tale gating. (Also see 2 comments.)]

[P.S. under a Google of "AP Luncheon" I found this interesting Hoist by his own Picard by John Hull. A careful reading and reference to sources would indicate a hoist of his own profession not to mention his metaphorical name. My father had a boat made by Swiftsure. Three flushes you're out! The three strikes are A. the fact-check error. B. the Lockner v. New York error C. the Wickard v. Filburn error. In context: Obama is a "professor", Lockner v. New York was probably what Obama was referring to or in era in general, which John Hull flushes, and Wickard v. Filburn recognized the power of the federal government to regulate economic activity. I mean, the gizzard of that guy.]

Waiting in the Wings.

[Update: 5-6-10 Here**] This is to note that I have a few spots and comments under developement in draft. In particular something on the issue of news/web coverage (so called Journalism) and it's sometimes too fast pace or poorly prophetic & preemptive coverage.

Meanwhile I just read this and don't recall if I had linked it as a to read or saved for reference* or loose link.

* a look at my posting dates indicates the latter

P.S. The NYTimes of course has it's cynics, while I hope CSM doesn't need more critics.

[**]5-6-10 regards saved in draft(now posted) as wise move and error to be followed up.
